Cotton stripes

{Hat: vintage; Jacket: Express; Scarf: vintage; Gloves: Fownes; Skirt: c/o eShakti; Boots: Miz Mooz; Lips: MAC Ruby Woo}

Recently, the lovely people at eShakti asked if I would like to do a review on an item from their spring line. I have worked with them before and decided to collaborate with them again. Though it has been cold, I was certainly in the mood for something cheerful and flowy for spring. I decided on this brightly striped pleated cotton skirt.
eShakti allows their costumers to have the option of customization when ordering. It truly makes each item personal, as you add your size, height, and custom styling choice. When I selected this skirt, I wanted it to be full, narrow at the waist, and long enough to hit near my knees. The skirt that arrived was on the mark and I can't wait to wear it on sunny spring days!
Wearing it for photos was something of a challenge because of the weather. However, I liked how the bright stripes were playful on a chilly day.
I will admit that I was nervous about the fabric. The last review I did with eShakti resulted in a torn zipper seam after the first wear. I am happy to report that this must have been a fluke and I quite pleased with the construction of this skirt! It will be perfect for when Jazz in the Park starts again in the Sculpture Garden.
Want to check out eShakti? Use the discount code SENTMENTLS between now and March 20th for 20% off. I would use it on this striped dress or this floral dress or this nautical inspired skirt or this pinstripe top.
