A three sweater kind of day

There are days when I look at what I'm wearing and I realize how nerdy I am.  Seriously.  This outfit is an example.  I managed to wear three sweaters.  At one time.  While cozy, it screams "I spend too much time with knit wear".  Way too much time.
{Cardi:  Banana Republic; Sweatervest:  Express; Sweater:  F21; Pants:  Express; Pumps:  Ellen Tracy}
These are my favorite work pants and shoes.  The pants fit perfectly and I adore the sweet bows on the pumps.  In fact, these shoes are a relic from my fall trip to Seattle.  I love bringing home memorable wardrobe additions from traveling.
My nerdiness extends beyond my sweater affinity.  Recently I was invited over to a friend's for smoothies and the board game Connect Four.  I was very excited.  When and we began to play I realized, I'd had it all wrong.  We were playing Kinect for Xbox.  Yes.  My friends are all up to date with the cool games to play.  I am stuck in the early 90's.

Hilarious - I loved Connect Four. We bought it a couple of years ago for our children and the only part thye liked was the yellow bar at the bottom that let all the pieces drop down. Hmm.
Great look!

ha ha ha - Connect 4 is such a great game, I would totally have spent the whole time wishing that we were playing that. I love the pop of purple that's being out from all your sweater layers (I've never gone the sweaters deep but I've layered two sweaters plenty of times).

You look absolutely gorgeous! Especially love the bow shoes. And I would happily play Connect Four with you, I've never played on an xbox or wii.

That is such a funny story, but I'd really seriously do the same thing!

LOVE those sweet sophisticated shoes.

And I can't believe you wore 3 sweaters all at once. Hilarious.

I am sort of surviving the snow but now we're supposed to have a horrible ice storm so ugh! Hope it's much nicer in WA but I think everyone's getting in right?
